Martizay, du haut du clocher

The archaeological museum of Martizay offers us a guided tour of the church of Martizay (15th, 17th, 19th centuries), during which we will be able to access the bell tower, by a spiral staircase hidden behind a concealed door. We will discover the three bells that mark the time of the village and a breathtaking view of the surrounding countryside. On the lower floor, our guide will show us how to reassemble the old gears of the 19th century clock still in place.
