On the occasion of the European Heritage Days, "Les rendez-vous de la Chesnaye" invites you to an arts and crafts market at the magnificent Domaine de La Chesnaye – Musée des Ponts et Chaussées.
The Domaine is housed in a former farmhouse built by Ferdinand de Lesseps, the famous creator of the Suez Canal. It has held the "Maison des Illustres" label since 2015. Take advantage of the arts and crafts market to (re)discover the site and its collections: the history of roads, bridges, canals, ports and lighthouses, as well as the trades, from roadmender to engineer! Funny machines and tools will arouse the interest and curiosity of young and old alike.
