Launched in 2007 in the Sarthe region, Dimanches de Caractère offer unusual tours of often privately-owned sites, exploring history through the eyes of local people. Local residents, associations, municipalities, art and history regions, etc. welcome you to discover the secrets of these small towns with their multiple characters.
Hospitals have a long history. From ancient chapels to refurbished buildings, they have all been used to care for the people of Levroux. This tour, following in the footsteps of the old hospital buildings, takes us back in time through their evolution. At the end of the tour, enjoy potato galettes, pâté de Berrichon, Valençay wine, Berry Cola and many other local specialties.
