La Joconde parle enfin

The genesis of La Joconde parle enfin, playing at the Théâtre de l??uvre, goes back 20 years in the mind of Laurent Ruquier. Initially, he envisaged a classical performance with the Mona Lisa posing for Leonardo da Vinci. However, the idea evolved into a monologue, allowing the Mona Lisa to finally speak and share her experiences, becoming both character and painting. The Mona Lisa, the international star whose opinion has never been sought, finally speaks. In his new play, Laurent Ruquier takes us on an unprecedented journey into the life of Leonardo da Vinci's masterpiece, from its creation to its current location in the Louvre.
