New edition of the "Journées du Patrimoine de Pays & des Moulins" sponsored by Carole Gaessler on the theme: "Water useful to all" with a visit to the Briqueterie du Pic and demonstration of know-how.
On Friday June 21, 2024, come and discover the expertise of the Desmoulières family, brickmakers since 1828 at La Tuilerie de la Lorne in Ruffec. They manufacture a wide range of terracotta products, the raw clay of which comes from their quarry in Saint-Palais (18), and which are handcrafted and fired entirely over a wood fire. Attend a demonstration of the production line and a tour of the showroom, and leave with your own souvenir briquette.
