Festival "17ème Rencontres musicales de Jaugette"

For its 17th year, the Rencontres musicales du Manoir des arts will feature the theme of "Music and Sport". It will feature 5 concerts, 3 of which will feature professional sportsmen and women who will combine their disciplines with the proposed program.

Les rencontres musicales de Jaugette means bringing music from the big cities to the countryside, offering audiences a demanding, high-quality program, and facilitating encounters between experienced and young musicians. On the theme of "Music and Sport", the Manoir de Jaugette offers 3 days of concerts. Opening of the festival with the Vierzon hip-hop school and its 2 teachers: Matheus Barbosa, international break dancer, creator of the Breakingjourney school and regional break dance delegate for the Olympic Committee; and Paola Soares da Silva, teacher at the school and French break dance champion. Day 2: Tennis and Judo with 2 concert-shows and Polyphonic Olympics in the evening. Day 3: Weber's opera "Freischütz" in a nod to the Olympic shooting competitions.
