Exposition "Une oeuvre de l'atelier de Boticelli à Chambord"

Exhibition "A work from Boticelli's workshop at Chambord". An unsuspected treasure from the church of Saint-Félix in Champigny-en-Beauce (41), this Virgin and Child with young St. John the Baptist, long considered a 19th-century copy, was recently authenticated as an original 16th-century work from the workshop of Italian painter Sandro Botticelli (1445-1510), one of the great masters of the Renaissance.
