Exposition "Couleurs Nature"

Pierrette Girault, who lives in Châtillon and loves her region, finds her inspiration in the simple, ever-changing beauty of the landscapes that surround her. Through her canvases, she brings nature to life as it inspires her. Each work is the fruit of careful, sensitive observation, in which the artist strives to translate the emotions that arise during her walks in nature. She captures the play of light and delicate atmospheres that, in her eyes, transform an ordinary place – an undergrowth, a trickle of water – into a scene vibrant with poetry. Self-taught, she has trained over the years in workshops and courses with professional painters, while pursuing a career in teaching.
