Exposition annuelle "L'Art fait son Cirque"

The Friday 08 November at 10 a.m00
1 Place de la Liberté 36150 VATAN
The Musée du Cirque in Vatan presents an exceptional exhibition, on view throughout 2024, dedicated to H.S.H. Prince Rainier III, creator of the Festival International du Cirque de Monte-Carlo in 1974.
Entitled "L'Art fait son cirque", the exhibition brings together the collection of Dr. Alain Frère, the world's largest circus collector, and celebrates the centenary of Prince Rainier and the 25th anniversary of the Monte-Carlo International Circus Festival.
Works by Picasso, Chagall, Toulouse-Lautrec, Matisse, Rosa Bonheur and Chéret, most of them copies, but also tableware from the Manufacture de Monaco, bronzes… can be seen in the museum’s 600 m2. The Musée du Cirque is one of the few privileged venues to host the exhibition, which has only been shown in Tourrette-Levens, the town of Dr. Alain Frère, and in Monte-Carlo, in the former automobile museum of the princely family.
