Exposition annuelle "L'Art fait son Cirque"

The Thursday 02 January at 10 a.m00
1 Place de la Liberté 36150 VATAN
In view of its success, the Musée du Cirque de Vatan is pleased to announce the extension of the "L'Art fait son Cirque" exhibition in 2025, dedicated to H.S.H. Prince Rainier III, creator of the Festival International du Cirque de Monte-Carlo in 1974.
The exhibition brings together the collection of Dr. Alain Frère, the world's largest circus collector. Painters, sculptors, poster artists and others pay tribute to the circus through their talent in the seven rooms that make up this museum. You'll discover paintings, sculptures, porcelain, costumes, as well as a snake trunk, the cube of contortionist Rocky Rendall, the crossbow of the Grey Arrow duo, a Roman float from the Pinder circus parade, etc.
The Musée du Cirque is one of the privileged few to host the exhibition, which is only presented in Tourrette-Levens, the town of Dr Alain Frère, and in Monte-Carlo, in the former automobile museum of the princely family.
The Musée du Cirque has been awarded the “Tourisme et Handicap” label for auditory, mental and motor disabilities.
