In 1976, Jean-François Appert and his friend Jacques Simeret discovered Archys, the abandoned childhood home of the poet Henri de Latouche (1785-1851). They succeeded in transforming this "country house" of the Age of Enlightenment into a luxurious, refined home. The grounds, inspired by the Grand Siècle, are a delight to behold.
