Concert de fin d'académie : Le Concert idéal

In a string octet formation, violinist Marianne Piketty presents the closing concert of the Académie de Musique de Chambre she organizes every two years at Noirlac. Her three works are all about youth and surprise.

Every two years, violinist Marianne Piketty and her ensemble Le Concert Idéal organize a chamber music academy at Noirlac, giving talented young instrumentalists and composers from all over Europe an opportunity to rub shoulders with the professional artistic world. Together, they explore a rich repertoire over the course of a week, and perform the fruits of their labors in public.

The first in a series of four concerts to be held in the Cher and Loir-et-Cher regions, this program, featuring three scores from a century apart, is resolutely youthful.
