Situated on a rocky spur facing north/south, it offers a wide panorama. Large birds of prey (Short-toed Eagle, Honey Buzzard, Marsh Harrier) and storks use it as a landmark on their migration to Africa, especially on the hot days of late August.

Birds of prey such as the great eagle, the buzzard and the marsh harrier use it as a landmark on their migration to Africa. Storks, too, take advantage of the warm days of late August to leave Europe.
