Chartres en lumières returns with 21 sites illuminated 7 nights a week. The 2025 season is full of surprises: several emblematic sites will host new scenographies. See you in front of Saint-Pierre church, the Chartres theater and the Pont des Minimes. With Chartres en lumières, plunge into a colorful fairytale world and discover the must-see sites in the heart of Chartres in an unusual way, from dusk to 1 a.m. (11:30 p.m. from October 26). Enjoy the storytelling at your own pace: you're free to plan your own itinerary and stroll around Chartres city center. Chartres en lumières is an entirely free event organized by the City of Chartres.
