The commune of Ardentes has been built on both sides of the River Indre since Gallo-Roman times. During this guided walk, you'll discover the history of the commune through its emblematic local figures, from writer Georges Lubin to painter des Gachons, and you'll also be able to admire the architectural richness of its churches, Saint-Martin (listed as a Monument Historique since 1862) and Saint-Vincent. The walk ends with a refreshment reminiscent of the famous Ardentes forges.
