This workshop links the know-how of paper crafting with the world of plants. Two (or three) very simple applications to make flowered papers… and discover the artistic possibilities of this material!

After a historical recontextualization, a presentation of the gestures and the vocabulary specific to the craft of paper making (drawing, coating, watermarks…), the mediator is interested in the paper plants, gives to see the diversity of the fibers used and the papers obtained. Experiments are then proposed to explore the connections between paper and plants: plant paper, plant compositions, inclusions…
