On the occasion of the Journées Européennes des Métiers d'arts 2024 "Sur le bout des doigts", AMI is proposing a discovery of the skills associated with artisanal papermaking.

On Wednesday April 3, come and take part in a hands-on workshop to learn about the different paper-making plants, whether traditional textile fibers or more exotic plants, and the stages involved in transforming these fibers! This will be an opportunity to present two ancient skills, in the West and in Asia; and to keep abreast of the latest developments in a craft that is constantly reinventing itself in terms of the materials used…

This sensory experience invites you to play with the textures of the fibers and pastes obtained, combine them and create with this fabulous material!
