Fishing in Chambord

The Domaine de Chambord offers amateur and specialist fishermen a new experience: fishing in the Cosson Canal, which has never been fished since Chambord was opened to the public in 1821! Located near the castle this natural reserve is full of fish!
As a family, the amateur fisherman can spend a day in Chambord by visiting the château and benefit from exceptional viewpoints for fishing. Specialist fishermen will be able to have the nice surprise of discovering large fish: carp, predators or even pike, catfish, and zander. The posts are located at the heart of a route frequented by the public. The limit of each post is materialized by a number and wooden terminals (Regulations and conditions on www.chambord.org). No kill fishing except for catfish. Reservations for fishing rights on the Chambord estate must be paid online and with the reservation service (02 54 50 40 00).
