Learn how to make baskets of all shapes, with plants harvested in the wild, this is what the wild basketry course offers you. Supervised by Babeth Ollivier, educator and nature trainer (Folle Brindille).

This course is aimed at all those who wish to discover wild basketry, its basic techniques and the materials that can be used in nature. During the 5 days in the heart of the Brenne, you will be introduced to spiral basketry and basketry on hoops. Once you have mastered these techniques, you will be able to express your creativity and create original forms of straw mats and baskets on hoops. In the middle of nature, during a bush walk, you will also create a simple container with the materials available on site! Targeted skills: recognize the plant species used in wild basketry (choice of materials, harvesting periods, preparation of the strands…), master the basic techniques of basketry.
