Traces et indices

Presentation

Decipher the footprints, tracks or clues that animals or plants leave behind. Supervised by Jean-Louis Orengo, ichnologist (Model'Nature).
Ichnology is the science of interpreting traces. The application of this multidisciplinary approach to the environment is a major asset in learning to interpret all forms of life. This training will allow each participant to develop a keen sense of observation, thanks to methods, experiments, examples, role-playing and workshops that will follow one another during the week. Skills targeted: recognizing the origin of traces and learning to interpret their history, being able to find traces on different media, using ichnology as a vector for developing the sense of observation.
