As early as the 50s, sunken lanes, like trognes and bouchures, were seen as obstacles to progress (mechanization). Very few have survived the various land consolidations. At Le Tranger, we're lucky enough to be able to stroll along two of these remnants, which have been maintained as green corridors, and to observe a number of wild plants.
