The training will enable you to identify the analyses to be carried out and the constraints; to use data analysis software, to model and to reason in statistical terms. Supervised by Renaud Baeta, PhD in ecology, biodiversity officer (ANEPE Caudalis).

More and more naturalist data is being collected in the field, whether as part of specific, protocol-driven studies or through the ever-increasing accumulation of opportunistic data. With so much data available to environmental professionals, viewing raw data alone can be a limiting factor in understanding a situation. The aim of this training course is to give you the keys to a better understanding of a dataset, and to analyze it with the help of appropriate, high-performance tools. Analysis of count or presence-absence data will be a particular focus. The entire course will be run on R Studio software, enabling you to familiarize yourself
with this particularly powerful software.
