The French Crochet family estate is located in Bué in the heart of Sancerrois. The 10.25 hectare vineyard is divided between Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir. All the wines are under the Sancerre appellation.
Domaine François Crochet is a family estate located in Bué, in the heart of Sancerrois. Son of Robert and Marie-Solange Crochet, François has been a winegrower in Bué since 1998 and perpetuates the work accomplished for several generations by his family.
The 10.25 hectare vineyard is planted with Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir and produces exclusively wines classified as AOC Sancerre.
The vines are spread over around thirty plots spread over 4 communes: Bué, Sancerre, Crézancy and Thauvenay. The estate cultivates terroirs emblematic of the appellation of limestone, clay-limestone and a recently acquired parcel of flint. The range of wines extends to 7 cuvées of white, red and rosé Sancerre.
