The Château de Sancerre is one of the rare French châteaux to bear the name of an appellation. Located on the left bank of the Loire, dominating a unique terroir of 4 different soils, the latter has 55 hectares of vineyard, planted with vines with an average age of 25 years. The rolling hills and semi-continental climate of the region produce Sauvignon Blancs with great structure, crisp and fresh, evoking aromas of ripe gooseberries, smoky notes and flinty notes. The wines of Château de Sancerre are vinified and aged until they are bottled, directly at the Château. The art of blending is demanding in order to remain loyal to the motto of the Constable of Sancerre: "Go before the best".
