In the heart of the old Châteauroux, an industrial wasteland has been converted into an associative art gallery. L'Atelier de la Poissonnerie is a place of sharing and artistic exchanges open to all means of expression and to all publics.
L'Atelier de la Poissonnerie is an artistic and cultural association whose aim is to promote emerging artists by taking care of the diffusion of their work and promoting access to culture to the general public. Based at the Usine, its head office for 3 years (2017), the association brings together several artistic expression media: exhibition centre, performing arts centre, radio centre, workshop centre and publishing centre. The association's team organizes a seasonal cultural program every year, from March to September, centered around the exhibition (in the Gallery space) and the performing arts.
