Muscadet, the star of Nantes vineyards

Cradled between the Atlantic Ocean, Grand Lieu Lake and the River Loire, Muscadet is without a doubt the star of the Nantes vineyards. It is a dry white with four appellations: Muscadet, Muscadet Sèvre et Maine, Muscadet Coteaux de la Loire and Muscadet Côtes de Grand-Lieu.

Muscadet: a single grape variety and four AOC appellations

A highlight of the vineyards of Nantes, Muscadet comes from the white Melon grape variety.

Here this dry white is grouped into four AOC appellations: Muscadet, Muscadet Sèvre et Maine, Muscadet Coteaux de la Loire and Muscadet Côtes de Grand Lieu.

Muscadet, a gastronomic white wine

Muscadet is fresh on the palate and is a perfect match with fish, whether from the sea or a fishing trip on the Loire. It can also be enjoyed with white meats and cheese, especially goat's cheese.

A wine to be discovered with Vignobles & Découvertes ('Vineyards & Discoveries'), in Muscadet Loire Océan.
