What are you doing from 8 September to 28 October 2023? Come and watch one of the most anticipated sporting events of 2023 taking place in France: the Rugby World Cup! 

The matches will take place in nine different cities, offering rugby fans the opportunity to discover new regions of France, including the Loire Valley

Tours, located in the heart of the Loire Valley, is strategically placed to attend the matches! Only an hour by train from Paris, an hour and a half from Nantes and two hours from Bordeaux, it will also be the base camp of the Irish team.

Opt for a discovery by bike 

Cycling is an excellent way to discover the Loire Valley, in harmony with nature and in complete peace of mind.... There are many cycle routes and loops in the area, the star itinerary being of course La Loire à Vélo. You can cycle at your own pace, for a day or more. You can cycle as close as possible to the royal river or its tributaries, in the heart of vineyards or forest landscapes, to discover the great châteaux of the Loire (Chenonceau, Chambord...) or more discreet monuments, towns of art and history (Orléans, Tours, Blois...) and other small villages to be explored...   

Don't worry about the logistics! Everything is designed to make your life easier, thanks to the many service providers who have the "Accueil Vélo" label. You can even take your bike on the Loire à Vélo train... Saddle up!
