Visit at your own pace!

During the summer season, the Brissac family invites visitors to discover their château on unaccompanied visits with explanations in six languages.

To meet its guests’ expectations and allow everyone to discover the heritage at their own pace, the Château of Brissac has translated its documents into six different languages. In July and August, the site can be visited in complete liberty, allowing visitors to admire the stunning decor in the tallest château in France at their leisure. It is an opportunity to observe the finer details of the gold-leaf ceilings, upholstery and old furniture that adorn the different rooms in the château, and to wander round the charming little theatre built in the Belle Époque and originally dedicated to singing and opera. The visit continues with a presentation of the estate's wines and a tasting of it’s delicious Anjou Rosé in the traditional decor of the vaulted cellar. Last but not least, the magnificent landscaped park invites walkers to enjoy a gentle stroll in the shade of century-old trees.
