A third star for Brissac

The Michelin Green Guide has awarded a third star to the Château of Brissac, a tribute to all the hard work carried out by the Marquis of Brissac to promote his heritage.

Of all the distinctions awarded by the Michelin Green Guide, “monuments that are worth the trip” is one of the hardest to obtain because sites must meet nine set criteria. Wealth of heritage, authenticity of the site, quality of reception, quality of the visit... The Château of Brissac has met all these criteria and successfully won over the panel of judges, including the Editor-in-Chief who stated that “a château of this kind is unique in Europe”. This third star also bears testimony to the passion demonstrated by the Marquis of Brissac who owns the château and has invested all his time and energy into renovating the site and making it a place filled with life and attractions. The tallest château in France is now clearly one of the must-see visits in the Loire Valley.
