Three days to discover the Petite Brenne bocage

This 76 km 3-day itinerant tour allows you to discover the wooded landscape,
hilly and preserved Petite Brenne with a remarkable built heritage. Some stops
meals and visits are offered. This circuit is not accessible by horse-drawn carriage but variants are possible.

Description

This route through the forest of La Luzeraise takes several fords. It mixes nature discovery approaches with those of heritage. The lunch break on the first day is offered at the restaurant and former tile factory of La Luzeraise on the edge of the forest at Pascal Tortiget (up to 9 horses can be accommodated and reservations can be made by calling 02 54 37 61 38). You will pass by the private castle of the Garde Giron and the castle Guillaume. At La Petite Ménardière, Jonathan Crogiez welcomes you in a country gite. He can show you his goat breeding farm with the breed "Cou Clair du Berry" on reservation.
You have the possibility to join the chapel of Jovard. In the hamlet of Forge, vestiges of the old lime kilns are present.
