Ronsard au bord de Loir

Starting from Couture-sur-Loir, discover the rich local heritage and take in the beautiful verdant and bucolic setting on this stroll. In Tréhet, take a break at the Jet Ski leisure centre, and then make a cultural stop in Villedieu-le-Château, a small secluded village with a fortified priory. While wandering through the village, you will come across a church which dates back to the end of the 15th century. Back in Couture-sur-Loir, visit the 12th century church which contains the recumbent tomb statues of Ronsard’s parents, and relax by the side of the Loir on the Île Verte, taking in all the Ronsard sites before returning to La Possonnière manor.
