Description

This extension of the Loire à Vélo route takes you as far as the Pointe de Courpin (the confluence of the rivers Loire and Loiret) in the Loir-et-Cher department. Along the way you can enjoy some magnificent views over the Loire and its flood-plain forests and sand banks. The route also passes through two beautiful little towns: Beaugency and Meung-sur-Loire.
Warning: maintenance works on this route June-September 2011.
