Description
The pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela is a Christian pilgrimage, the aim of which is to reach the crypt of the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela in Halice (Spain), where there is an urn containing the supposed remains of the Apostle James the Greater. If it has been travelled since the 9th century by Christians stopping off in monasteries, the pilgrimage of Santiago has also become a famous and increasingly popular hike.
