Description
This itinerary, part of the Chemins de St Jacques de Compostelle network (voie de Tours), takes you through the whole of the Loiret region. Along the way, you'll follow the Essonne and its valley, cross the Forêt d'Orléans, then the banks of the Canal d'Orléans to reach the Loire at Orléans.
You’ll enjoy a variety of panoramic views along the way, with different atmospheres: sometimes the endless fields of the Beauce, sometimes the small villages of the Gâtinais, sometimes the forest, sometimes the towns of the Orléans conurbation…
