Itinerary details
Description
Built in 1838 on the bed of the Auron to feed the Canal de Berry during the low water period, the pond of Goule, with a surface area of 110 hectares, could contain nearly 3,800,000 cubic metres. After the decommissioning of the Canal de Berry, the general councils of the Cher and the Allier made official the creation of a sensitive natural area.
