Notre Dame de Puiseaux is a large gothic church dominated by a bell tower.
Description
Notre Dame de Puiseaux is a large 13th century gothic church dominated by a spire. It was used as a parish church and this explains its imposing size.
The nave and the north aisle are in the ogival gothic style. The transept is pierced with rose windows. At the back of the large choir, the eastern wall has a double triplet.
In the south aisle, a chapel contains a 16th century tombstone.
The tribune at the back of the church and the old organ case in the north aisle are also remarkable.
The church is open from 8am to 6pm in winter and from 8am to 7pm in summer.
