This château was built in the 15th century and has been inhabited by generations of the same family since 1682. Richly furnished, it holds memories of the Duchess of Berry who lived there, as did her father-in-law King Charles X and her son the Count of Chambord, whose preceptor was Auguste Agard de Maupas. The staircase is decorated with a collection of 887 earthenware plates, for visitors to admire.
