The sites of the town of Bourges and Berry have been occupied for millennia. The most proven traces date back to the Bituriges and to Caesar. Since the medieval period, religious and civil buildings, public and private, places of leisure and relaxation, have given free rein to the skills of builders and the vagaries of history.
