Guided tour, store with local products representative of the town and the park.
Pets are not allowed.
Description
The Parc de la Brune, part of the territory of the Moulin de la Brune, is bordered by about 500 m of the Yèvre River. Some of the trees of this very old property dating from the 13th century, which includes a defense tower, were planted in the 19th century (Catalpa, Magnolia, common or flowering Ash).
More recent species offer the view of almost forty-year-old trees, some of which reach more than 25 meters high.
The guided tour allows you to discover many rarities and particularities such as the tree of luck, the magic tree of the Gauls, the Glycines (Chinese and Japanese), the Patenôtrier whose seeds were used to make rosaries..
The owner of the place, connoisseur in Dendrology, will guide you during 1h30, and you will benefit from Anecdotes and curiosities.
