Fortified by letters patent of Charles VII to his loyal cup-bearer, Jean de Poix in 1447, the château is a family treasure, and is now owned by Hugues, a descendant of the same name, who continues to uphold its enchanting medieval charm. Climb the stairs to stay in the bedroom of Jeanne, a double room with bathroom (four-poster queen-size bed) overlooking a courtyard. There is a large lounge available and the option to use the spa (Turkish bath, jacuzzi) located in the vaulted cellar. Picnic hampers can be prepared on request.
