Grupo Compay Segundo, made up of the crème de la crème of today?s Cuban music scene, brilliantly celebrates the Cuban sound and the legacy of the Buena Vista Social Club.

In 2003, the legendary Compay Segundo, an inseparable part of Cuba?s history and heritage, passed away. His son, Salvador Repilado (double bass player, musical director and original musician of the Buena Vista Social Club project) and his bandmates decided to continue what the artist, who forever transformed Cuban music, had always wanted? “Tocar Música tradicional Cubana!”. Compay Segundo y sus Muchachos became El Grupo Compay Segundo.
