For these four dates, the Musée Bertrand is offering guided tours of its exhibition on Jean-Jacques Henner. The exhibition is divided into three sections, introduced by an immersion into the intimacy of the master?s studio.
Visitors will be able to contemplate the creative impetus aroused in the young artist by the discovery of Italy, followed by his brilliant career as a portraitist, which enabled him to achieve his first notoriety, and finally his commitment to historical events and the affirmation of his style through history painting. It is in this last section that the famous red-headed figures, emblematic of the painter of the “fauve golds”, will be presented.
Tours by prior arrangement.
