Visite au musée : la salle de la préhistoire

Martizay's archaeological museum houses objects dating back to prehistoric times, including flint tools, pottery fragments, molds and Bronze Age objects such as axes and bracelets. During the visit, we'll talk about the cliff shelters at Les Roches de Pouligny-Saint-Pierre, which were occupied in prehistoric times, and whose excavations have provided information about the flora and fauna, and hence the climate, of that era. We'll be able to paint using pigments, just as was done in prehistoric times.
