"Le Chat Botté au château de Valençay" is the 20th night-time show for the general public presented by CAPVAL since 1966 in the Valençay region. It's an adaptation of Perrault's famous tale, about a cunning cat who helps his master, a miller's son, to rise socially. Thanks to his cleverness and tricks, the cat manages to fool an ogre into believing that his master is the wealthy "Marquis de Carabas". The majestic Château de Valençay is the backdrop for this enchanting tale of adventure, cunning and magic. The show offers an immersive experience through historic settings and enchanting staging. Directed, costumed and illustrated by Jean-Claude Baudoin, with the help of the people of Valençay and the surrounding region
