Two farmers chose to diversify and grow lavender for distillation (using the traditional method, i.e. steam distillation, to preserve the quality of the plant) and the production of essential oil.
Their plots are being converted to organic farming. In order to adapt their farms to climate change, lavender is a resistant plant that requires little water. Harvesting takes place at the optimum time for the plant. In this way, they control the entire production chain, from planting to bottling.
