The first hobby horse competition comes to Berry! Participants and spectators will take over the prestigious site of the Lignières racecourse for a day of good humor and benevolence!
Once a simple children?s toy, hobby-horse riding has become a real hobby with growing popularity. On the borderline between sport and art, hobby-horsemanship calls on the athletic and artistic skills of participants, who must imitate to perfection the rider/horse pair in various equestrian disciplines.
To succeed in this first Hobby Horsing event at the Pôle du Cheval et de l’Âne, riders must score maximum points each time they appear before the judges. Three events are on the program: dressage, jumping and neighing, to be performed alone or in teams of 6 participants. Admission is free for spectators: come and discover the hobby horse!
