Dismantled on the orders of Louis XIII in the 17th century, Sancerre's feudal castle is unfortunately no longer part of the Sancerre landscape.
Only the Tour des Fiefs remains, a true testament to the town's medieval past. Accompanied by our guides, we invite you to stroll through the alleys of the château?s park to appreciate the views and the different species of plants and flowers. You'll then need a bit of energy to climb the hundred or so steps to the Tour des Fiefs. An opportunity to learn more about this vestige that has become emblematic of the region.
