The diversity of papers and printing techniques…
A workshop to discover the world of paper and printing by creating a small herbarium… With very different papers, in terms of texture, color and the fibers used… !
Come and discover the incredible diversity of plants and fibers used in artisanal papermaking techniques! Then it’s up to you to print the image of the corresponding plant on each of these materials: delicate cotton flowers on a highly absorbent paper with a textile appearance, a pretty blue linen flower on a “snappier” paper…
You’ll also get a taste of different printing techniques: typography and, above all, linocut, widely used in the world of illustration.
Ages 8 and up. Duration 1h30. 8 participants maximum
