This Matinale concludes the site initiated with historian Patrick Boucheron under the title "Des Moyens Âges contemporains" (Contemporary Middle Ages).
The historian Zrinka Stahuljak will return to her decompartmentalized conception of a Middle Ages more alive than ever, and the young ensemble Murmur Mori, a rising star on the Italian early music scene, will bring to life in a singularly embodied way that era – the 12th and 13th centuries – when the Provençal language dominated the West, and in particular the airs of the troubadours and trobairitz of Italy and France.
