Pierre Boulez used to say that music is nothing but a succession of happy accidents. For Leïla Huissoud, misfires and blunders are its most vibrant scores. The singer-songwriter from the Isère region began writing her third album, La maladresse, among her fellow misfits, all those stuck on the bangs and broken faces. A wolf-like return to the “ballet” of everyday life.

Anne-Sõphie is a solo hybrid of French chanson, mixing words-sung and words-said, pop and poetry, with tenderness as a common thread.
